About this product
Wallor Beans from Transfood (botanically Lablab purpureus / Valor variety) are wide, flat, green legumes that visually easily resemble European barley beans or sugar beans. As young, fresh crops are imported, the shoots have a smooth, delicate outer skin and envelop flat, kidney-shaped nuclei inside. Cooked, the beans develop a hearty, distinctive aroma with a fine, decent bitter note.
Authentic traditional snack: an indispensable speciality for the western and southern Indian cuisine, which cannot be replaced by any European beans in one-on-one flavor.First-class nutrient supplier: Rich in antioxidants, fiber and vegetable protein with a minimum calorie content.Young harvest phase: Transfood focuses on the importation of young, delicate beans when imported by air so that the goods in the store remain fleshly and the side threads are not hardened.
